Life Saving Throughout the Thames Valley
RLSS UK branches are the key to providing ‘community, evidenced-based interventions to prevent drowning’. This involves a thorough understanding of local drowning statistics together with the local knowledge that will help to formulate plans. These plans will target those who you have established are key risk communities, or geographical areas and activities that lead to the most drownings and near misses.
We are a volunteer-run branch with many clubs across Thames Valley who teach lifesaving awards including Rookies and National Lifesaving Acadamy Awards, so if you are interested in learning lifesaving skills including water based rescues and dry side skills such as CPR, please have a look in our clubs section for your nearest club!
